Edda Fahrenhorst (fotogloria.de) and I had an idea and the idea turned into a group exhibition of 4 photographers of 4 different generations to use AI for an environmental photo festival in North-East Germany - the 16th Umweltfotofestival Horizonte Zingst Fotografie in 2023. The theme this year was FLORA.

Edda and I loved the idea to create and show "photographs" of flora at an environmental photo festival that are not photographs, where the flora shown is not real flora - it is all computer and mind generated. We wanted to challenge the viewers of our exhibition.

Here is my contribution to the exhibiton and a film explaining how it all went down. My work may well have been inspired by the Netflix series "The Last Of Us" but see for yourself.
